20 years on, more on leptin

Yes we all know leptin did not work the slimming wonders many would have wished it to, but scientists (as usual with results which still need to be confirmed) have reported that they now have a better (how good?) idea of how leptin works in our bodies, and what it affects. Most interestingly, it is reported that lack of leptin (which happens when we are very hungry) will cause us to lose our social and emotional responsibilities (for those who have any), allowing us to behave as we otherwise would not behave.
